LOL, I honestly think that going to an HBCU actually shelters an individual more than anything. I went to a University that was 50% white and 50% everything else . I went there because the world is not all white and it is not all black, so I felt I needed to go somewhere that represented the world we live in. Personally, I see a difference in candidates who go to an HBCU, those who go to a majority white college, and the few who go to diverse institutions. Ill be glad when colleges more accurately reflect our mixing pot.
